About VPLS

The Target Index includes U.S. government and agencyobligations, corporate bonds, mortgage-backed securities, asset-backedsecurities, and emerging market bonds, all denominated in the U.S. dollar andwith maturities of at least one year. Under normal circumstances, the fundinvests at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings forinvestment purposes, in the bonds that make up the Target Index.

About IUSB

The fund will invest at least 80% of its assets in the component securities of the underlying index and to-be-announced transactions ("TBAs") that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of the component securities of the underlying index. The index measures the performance of U.S. dollar-denominated taxable bonds that are rated either investment-grade or high yield.
